The Chattanooga Wellness Expo, formerly known as the Minority Health Fair, will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the McKenzie Arena from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Volunteers will be needed on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st. This year's set up is slightly different, therefore, we ask that you sign-up for the day(s) and time frame(s) that work best for you. A task will be assigned based on your availability and information provided.

Volunteer Attire

Volunteer T-Shirt, comfortable shoes, and pants/shorts/skirt based on individual preference
ALL Volunteers must wear the Minority Health Fair T-Shirt during your volunteer shift. The Volunteer shirts will be available for pick up Friday, July 31, from 3:30PM – 7:00PM. Look for the Volunteer Check-In signage.
If you are unable to pick up your shirt on Friday, you will receive your shirt when you arrive Saturday. You must wear your MHF shirt during your volunteer shift. Tennis / comfortable shoes, shorts / jeans, etc. are all acceptable

Volunteer Check-In

There will not be a formal in-person volunteer orientation. However, we will be happy to do a brief walk through with you prior to your shift, if needed. It is important that you are familiar with the locations for screenings, vendors, door prizes and stage presentations.
Volunteers will also receive helpful “Know Before You Go” volunteer information via email confirming assignments, instructions for parking, arrival and volunteer check-in process and location prior to the Expo.
Please plan to arrive early – (15 minutes prior to your assigned shift). This give you time to park, check-in at the volunteer table and walk-through and familiarize the Expo layout prior to the start of your shift.
